Dr. David James

President
David is an astronomer, originally from Llandudno in Wales, who has worked as a Project Manager, Project Scientist, Astronomer, Professor and Director at observatories and universities all over the world. He has built telescopes and astronomical instruments on the Canary Islands, in Greece, on the Big Island in Hawai`i, in Chile, and in South Africa. His primary scientific interests are in the discovery and characterization of extra-solar planets, investigating stellar evolution through the study of young Galactic open clusters and star forming regions, and imaging black holes using very long baseline interferometry.
David is father to four energetic children, and in his spare time, loves to play golf, field hockey, soccer and squash, write poetry and travel. He is an ardent Francophile and is a keen student of the world’s peoples and languages.
Joseph Farah
Chief Technology Officer
President
Joseph is an astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a Collaborator on the Event Horizon Telescope project, he was part of the team that produced the first image of a black hole, and previously worked on the ATLAS detector of the CERN supercollider. He is a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar and a co-recipient of the 2020 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics. In 2019, he was named one of Boston's "25 under 25". His research interests are ultra-high resolution radio astronomy and strong gravity. In his spare time, Joseph is a digital artist and a competitive drag racer.

Tracie Ewing
Chief Marketing Officer
Tracie, originally from Lafayette, Indiana, is a high school special education teacher specializing in English and reading. She began her adult life as a stage manager for theatrical productions, but she soon realized teaching is where her heart lies. She first became a theater and fifth grade humanities teacher, then followed her true passion and went back to school to become a special educator. She still does theater in her free time, acting as the technical director to the theater club at her high school, as well as occasionally designing for professional theater. Tracie also has a spring and summer gig working for the Red Sox.

How do I return an item?

What is your returns policy?
If you request a return before we have produced your artwork, you will receive a full refund. If you request a return after your artwork has been produced, we will deduct the materials, production and shipping costs from the refund.
What steps are taken to protect me from the novel coronavirus?
At no point from production to shipping does the canvas touch human skin. Any and all packaging and accompanying product components are cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. The canvas itself is encased completely in protective plastic.
How do I track my order?
For products from the CELESTE, TERRA, and SYMBOLE categories, we will send email updates for your order directly to you at each stage of the production and shipping process.
How long do wall-art orders take to be produced?
Every CELESTE, TERRA, and SYMBOLE canvas is produced carefully, with maximum pains taken to ensure protection during shipping. Every order also undergoes a manual 25-point inspection by one of our astronomers before it is sent. As a result, it can be up to a month before you receive your order--but you can rest assured it will always be of the highest quality possible.
